Sorry yar! He is an oldie. Must have graduated two decades ago. NMC Multan. I think, at that time, it was sort of mandatory for civilian doctors to serve in army for some time. Something like that.. They did not have any army medical college back then. Their requirements for medical staff were not easily met.

Anyways, you have greater freedom now. You are medical student, I guess? AKUH? Dow? Sindh? Chandka? Where? :halo: You can go to even Baqai. :hoonh:

I havent heard anything like this service i will find about it.It was only during the wars that when there was a mandatory service i am not sure.even my relative who took early retirement after 65 war was directly commisioned as a captain and he was alloted a plot
