Allergy medicine

Recommendation for sinus pressure, runny nose, and sneezing :frowning:

Re: Allergy medicine

Sudafed.

Re: Allergy medicine

how about non-drowsy 24-hr Reactin?

Re: Allergy medicine

zyrtec, claritin (or the generic... cetirizine and loratadine respectively)

Re: Allergy medicine

Tablets with 'Cetirizine dihydrochloride' formula.

But it would be useful in the short-term only. For longer term, get vaccinated. The longer you delay vaccination, the less effective it would prove. The earlier, the better.

Re: Allergy medicine

Doctor.

Re: Allergy medicine

Thanks u all, actually i have been to allergen, she prescibed me flonase, and claritin. Flonase is steriod which i dont want to take everyday, and claritin doesnt work for me. I devellop allergy after my baby turned 2 months, so its been 5 months tried desi totka which only worked little, so i went to allergen when i had severe allergies last week thats when i couldnt breath my nose was clogged :( last night i took benaldlry 2 times every 4 hrs, flonase for sinus. I know that claritin d works for me. Sudafed is also every 4 hrs. I dont know if its safe to take claritin d every day.

Re: Allergy medicine

U mean flu vaccine?

Re: Allergy medicine

What are you allergic to?

Re: Allergy medicine

Well, dust mites, and grass weed.

Re: Allergy medicine

^thas what test results show.

Re: Allergy medicine

Allegra! I love that stuff...I take it most days and it helps quite a lot.

Re: Allergy medicine

you don't want to be on allergy meds for too long. get rid of the dust mites asap.

also, you could try the netipot. it works wonders for certain kinds of allergies, but if your allergens are inside your home, this won't be any use until you get rid of them.

Re: Allergy medicine

Queer, my house is clean in fact i had ac ppl clean the duct 2 weeks ago, plus i have air purifier in my room.

I dont like that netipot thing in my nose urghh :(

Re: Allergy medicine

i thought it was something bizarre until i gave it a go. nothing seems to soothe my sinus issues like warm saline water once or twice a day, when my allergies act up. i used flonase once, and couldnt smell anything for like 3-4 days. never doing it again.

Re: Allergy medicine

Allergy vaccine. It will increase your resistance to allergy... You won't get affected by allergy easily and consequently no flu... :)
