I hope someone can help. I wanted to colour my hair and did a patch test as suggested and had a major allergic reaction. Been advised by doctors not to use any hair dye at all.
At the moment I am fine as I just wanted to change my hair colour a bit but I am worried how will I manage my hair colour in future. I cannot use any hair dye and the only option left for me would be natural mehandi.
Any other suggestions as I don’t want to end up with orange hair in future, which will happen if I colour my hair with mahandi when they turn white. Feeling down
It’s usually the “Ammonia” in it that causes it, buy Ammonia free. L’oreal and Garnier carry the line for ammonia free hair colour. Naturtint is a boxed color that is said to be a natural permanent hair color. Its ammonia free, paraben free and most people do not complain of any allergic reactions to it.
Of course, do a patch test again before trying it on your hair.
