i saw some brides pics by allenora multan they make typical paindoo type make up gora latha bana dete hain....i wont say they are bad but they r ok..not good not bad.....
My sister in law had her walima makeup done by alle nora in multan they did a nice job.
Kosmos is also very good in multan to i had my bridal makeup done there she did a stunning job. i think her name was sajiah she is the owner. Make sure u get it done by her.

do not judge on the pictures these salons have up - you need to see real brides!
cosmos was recommended but it was terrible - dirty place, girls didn't know how to do treatments properly (i had a manicure, pedicure and blow dry - it was all a joke) and the makeup i saw was waaay to heavy and typical. the lady who owns it (she runs it in her house) thinks she knows everything.
allenora is not that fancy and shiny inside. but the girls are much more professional. they have dedicated jobs and the assistants do all the un-skilled stuff. they actually listen to clients as well.
when i went to check it out, one of the ladies was doing a beautiful hair style with flowers in it so i asked if she could do my nikah hair. she did a great job and she also did my mehndi which came out really nice.
my brother in law got married during the same days (we had nikah with his walima) and on his barat his wife had her makeup done from allenora and i was amazed- they did exactly what she had asked for.
she has gorgeous skin and she asked for the base to look as though it was barely there. the lady who runs the salon does the makeup and she did exactly that. the whole look was quite light and comtempory which matched her outfit and jewellery really well.
on the contray, a family friend's daughter in law had more typical makeup froma allenora on barat and the 'model' look on walima. so i really think they can do a variety of looks.
my BIL's wife walima makeup was done by farah's who did a really, really heavy base that in real life started cracking and melting half way through the walima. they gave her the 'model' look dark smokey eyes and pink lips - totally redrew her lipline though. it looked ok in pics but aged her by 15 years.
found out after the wedding that the ladies that i know who live in multan and are wealthy and travel abroad a lot all prefer allenora for their regular treatments too.

I am so confused according to make up . i am living in norway and are going to pakistan 3 week before my wedding.
i had my engagement in october and done my make up by my self ... there is no good porlors there we live.
i am so unsure that should i book anyone from lahore or multan .
why do you not done your make up from allenora on your nikkah ?

i think there are 2 (maybe 3) dedicated hairstylists that do all the fancy stuff. assistants help out with simple stuff like straightening and tonging.the woman i had was very nice. she asked me what sort of look i wanted and i showed her some pictures. why didn't i have my makeup done there?
i'm very picky about make-up. i'm also good at doing it myself. i didn't have time to check out parlours in detail and they don't do trials, so i decided before i even went to pakistan that i will do my own make-up.
i practiced the look i wanted before i went so i knew how i would be looking, no matter how good a parlour is, there is always an element of suprise on the outcome since they don't do trials. i find that crazy, i'd never hire someone in the UK without a trial first.
if i go for my walima next year, i probably will have my makeup done from allenora but only if the manager can be persuaded to give me a trial. a family friend who's a client there (and also very wealthy) told me to go there for hair after i was disheartened with what i saw in cosmos. she told the manager i was coming and she was therefore very accomodating and eager to meet my requirements so as to not loose face.

I want more like traditional make up at my barat, and model make up on walima...
i think you will be fine. it's the more contemporary, soft looks that salons have trouble doing. i had plenty of make-up on but the overall look was soft to compliment my outfit and the colours in it.
i also noticed that you asked about duputta settings. i didn't manage to have that done at the salon because they close at 7pm. i was at home at 7pm doing my makeup so my MILs friend did that when i was ready and she did a pretty good job of it.
from what i saw though, they will pin your duputta depending on your outfit and hairstyle. i think the hairstyle they do/recommend will also depend on how heavy your duputta is.
i didn't want anything with too much height, or for it all to be up and my duputta wasn't heavy so that kind of style was fine.
