iqbal was one of the poet and philosopher who had deep impact on sub-continent independence .. .. and Rumi was one of his Inspirational personality. There are Ph.D degrees on allama iqbal poetery in Punjab University, Pakistan. My cousin, she did a thesis on Rumi and his influence on Iqbal’s poetery.
