Allah won’t ask what kind of car you drove, but will ask how many
people you drove who didn’t have transportation.
Allah won’t ask what your highest salary was, but will ask if you
compromised your character or morals to obtain that salary.
Allah won’t ask the square footage of your house, but will ask how
many people you welcomed into your home.
Allah won’t ask about the fancy clothes you had in your closet,
but
will ask how many of those clothes helped the needy.
5 Allah won’t ask about your social status, but will ask what kind of
class you displayed.
Allah won’t ask how many material possessions you had, but will
ask if they dictated your life.
Allah won’t ask how much overtime you worked, but will ask if you
worked overtime for your family and loved ones.
Allah won’t ask how many promotions you received, but will ask how
you promoted others.
Allah won’t ask what your job title was, but will ask if you
performed your job to the best of your ability.
Allah won’t ask what you did to help yourself, but will ask what
you did to help others.
Allah won’t ask how many friends you had, but will ask how many
people to whom you were a true friend.
Allah won’t ask what you did to protect your rights, but will ask
what you did to protect the rights of others.
Allah won’t ask in what neighborhood you lived, but will ask how
you treated your neighbors.
Allah won’t ask about the color of your skin, but will ask about
the content of your character.
Allah won’t ask how many times your deeds matched your words, but
will ask how many times they didn’t.
Funny how you can send a thousand ‘jokes’ through e-mail and they
spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding
Allah, people think twice about sharing.
And Allah gave them a reward in this world, and the excellent reward
of the Hereafter. For Allah Loveth those who do good.

Firstly, this is not written by me, but I got it from an emailgroup, as you can see below those lines: 'Funny how you can send a thousand 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding Allah, people think twice about sharing.'
Secondly, the person who wrote this, must be inspired by the teachings of the Quran and the life of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) which serves as an example to us.
What a strange remark to make brother/sister, may I politely ask what you mean by that?
Or maybe you don't like my posts? Well, if that is the case, then you can either ignore them, or if there are many more guppies who feel teh same way, then please let me know, I'll stop posting on Gupshup then. I't really no problem for me. :) I seriously don't mind at all. :)
aw Sadya. Please don’t stop participating in this Forum. We have a shortage as it is of intelligent, informative and polite threads - you are definitely one of the rare Guppies in this Forum who participates in a balanced manner. i always look forward to reading your threads. Please continue posting i’m sure i’m not the only one who feels this way.
Sadya, i really mean what i wrote. i would not at all like for you to stop participating in this Forum, we have all benefited from your interesting and informative threads Masha’Allah. Uss ka sawaab aap ko mil raha ho ga Insha’Allah. Please don’t feel discouraged by anyone’s comments. Few Guppies in this Forum are as polite as you are. i mean this.
i look forward to reading lots more of your interesting and well-balanced threads in this Forum, Insha’Allah!

Ever heard of a Camel?
A camel was the 'car' of it's day and age:)
Thanks RAlly and Nadia, actually I know not always do I make good sense, sometimes I go crazy too or blurt out things about topics I don't have enough knowledge about.
But when I read something nice or interesting to me, then I think, well why not share it? Maybe someone else will benefit too. It's not my intention to sound like I know everything or something, becuase I probably know less about Islam than all of you together! I'm still learning. It's no big deal to share something, usually just few clicks, copy and paste.
Ahmadarsalan, thanks. But I don't always know if what I read is 100% correct, and sometimes you read stuff that is correct for one group and incorrect for the other. And my Islamic knowledge is limited, so I'm not always a good judge.
If I do share incorrect information, I hope to be corrected by someone, for my own benefit as well as for other peoples benefit who might read incorrect info provided by me!
May Allah lead all of us on the right path, and keep us on it!

I believe the idea is about being charitable and helpful toward others, even if automobiles are not particularly mentioned in any religious text.
Haven't much read about square footage of ones home, or job promotions in religious text either, but the point of charity towards others holds with all 15 comments Sadya shared.
Goo to know that he won’t ask any of these meaningless questions. I also wish that others stop asking these too. These are some very personal questions.

This comment was NOT meant as a dig at you or any other hyper Muslim here. I was simply trying to say that your knowlede of Islam seems to be quite comprehensive.
Please dont think I was being rude or a fool or anything like that, thou very unreligious myself (on a personal level my Islam is only for my family's sake) I do respect knowledgable ppl.

No hard feelings. But your post sounded a bit strange. So I was wondering what exactly you meant by that.
And no, I only have very limited knowledge of Islam, and very often I do say incorrect things because I still have a lot to learn!
