Truly visiting Al-Madinah, is an unforgetable. Visiting the Mosque of the Prophet and his Grave and making du^a’ to Allah infront of the grave of his great Prophet, by the virtue of the Most Honorable Prophet… Kissing the Grave of the Prophet, and the grave of Our Master Abu Bakr, and Our Master Umar.. Kissing the Black Stone.. Starring at Al Ka^bah.. Drinking and bathing with Zamzam water.. Standing on Mount ^Arafat.. Observing Mount Uhud.. Visting the Graves of Sahabah In Madinah and Mecca.. Love and sincerety.. Allah!! I wish I was in Al Madinah.
I ask Allah to grant me and you Hajj next year.

I have an Afghani friend who's father went to Al-Hajj 16 times, and he goes almost every year.. and he tells me: "Every time I'm on the way to Al-Hajj, I wait for the first seenery of the Green Dome (The Mosque of the Prophet; Al-Qubba Al-Khadra'), and when I first see it, I'm filled with the thrill of the beaty of that view", he says, although it's been more than 16 times doing the same thing, every time it seemed to be more beatiful.. he certainly made me wish to be there as I do now.
Ok..this is a circumstantial post. Dont brand it with any sect.
The reason why they have been prohibiting people from going up to even the grill and even touching it, let alone kissing it, is because of the erratic attitudes of people, mostly originating from within the people of the subcontinent, india, pakistan and iran.
I remember back when one was allowed to go up close to the grill, people, especially women from iran and Pakistan would take off their veils/dupattas/scarfs, and toss them inside the grill towards the grave of Prophet SAW. When they were restrained, some resorted to slapping their dupattas against the grill from a distance, so that the dupatta would merely touch it....and that, in their minds, would 'purify' the dupatta. And then those women would go back to their lands, tear up that dupatta into tiny bits and pieces, and either sell them as tabarruk, or distribute them as tabarruk.
Touching and kissing the grill with a certain intention is one thing and whether or not I agree with it is besides the point. But the above behavior, as was rampant uptil a couple of decades ago, is simply ignorant and ridiculous. And it was because of this behavior that this prohibition was put in place.
I have been reliably told that many people still manage to sneak in letters, pamphlets and other small stuff inside the grille. There seems to be an amazing fascination to present their dua’s to the Prophet (SAWW) via a hand-written letter delivered inside the small room.
. If it wasn’t for the Saudis(wahabis..oh no) and Allah’s will to keep Islam clean and pure in the lands in which it was revealed, these ignorant people would be prostrating to the grave of Mohammad(pbuh) astaqfirullah.

There's no Muslim that says La Ilaha Illallah Muhammadur-Rasulullah that would do such thing!! Unless he's a total ignorant.. But some misjudge Muslims in entirety and call them grave worshippers "just" Becasue they visit the Grave of the Prophet or Of Sahabah.. We Say, if the visitor is there to worship it or to believe that the grave or its occupant will create the benefit or harm, than that's ignorance and not from Islam, However no true Muslim has such belief. the true Muslim believes that the occupant of the grave is holy and honorable, and have a high status to Allah, and Allah grants one his need but it is possible to have reasons, and that could be the virtue of the Holy and honorable person.
Just so no one mixes things up!! The majority of the Ummah does not unaimously agree on dalal! as Prophet asked Allah for that and he was granted. The millions of Muslims in the world have not gone astray by just visting the honorable Prophet and making tawassul and tabarruk by him, surley knowing that Allah is the most beneficient and merciful. That's clear. Along with that, one can keep the respect and good manners when talking about the Prophet. As it's an order from Allah.
Bottom line, We all miss Al-Madinah and the honorable Prophet that is there and one day, certainly Insha'llah, we will Visit him Insha'llah.
A true Muslim is the kind that is in between excessivness and exaguration. So being intermediate on matters not from your choice, but because that is the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad. He's not a grave worshipper no is he a hater to the occupant of it...
Anyways, I wish I was in Al-Madinah.
