As an example, the thing we were discussing earlier: Fixed Planetary Paths. If you take the Quran literally, there shouldn't be any variation, but its clear that fixed means predictable. And sure as hell the paths are predictable.

There are lots of controversial issues and science has been used to refute or support those issues.
May I ask if you read any scientific journals or news at all?
They have lots of theories and ideas which get debunked or are considered controversial.

Those were merely examples. Big theories like big bang theory , evolution theory, Global warming are among a lot of other ‘theories’/ideas which even scientists acknowledge being controversial.
As to Einstein: He was not an atheist. None of your examples proves he was.
Actually he DID believe in existence of God. The God of Spinoza. Some thoughts which are mentioned may say he was an agnostic. But still NOT an atheist.

U talked about scientific magazines, show me articles printed in RESPECTABLE JOURNALS, by RESPECTABLE SCIENTISTS that oppose these theories. These theories are only considered controversial by ultra-religious people like you.

hareem I open a little thread when I got shocked listening to surah.
I did not know some ppl wanted to show their brain muscle so badly. That they wont first understand what is being said.
You know I always heard those islami-scinecei discussions, funny thing about them is ppl with biggest mouth often dont have the clue
of subject.
If you browse the thread you would see all smarty pants tend to expert on cosmology history, sociology, language.
I give you an example.. you need to have basic music sense in order to appropriate pure music.
Every single time I read a story about a scientist being stunned by koran, you will also hear he was desperate to get idea out of
any usual pattern.
Or some some other experts gets inspired ABOUT THERE OWN FIELD!!!!
I am surprised to see most of us don't have a freaking clue how we(human) are putting things out of balance on this earth.. that our existence would be soon challenged.
We have no idea of whats its elements are.. and how the whole thing play out.
Now if these cowboys knew it.. they would appreciate some one telling whole race that dont f-k things up for others.

Ok so the whole point of the thread changes to Evolution. That should be a separate topic of discussion.
Somebody said that **Science triumphs all . **Don't remember who did but my question is: If Science does triumph ALL...why hasn't it been able to triumph over death and life itself?
And please do not give me examples like cloning, In vitro fertilization, artificial insemination or all the theories and studies to prevent ageing of cells. Why hasn't science been able to reproduce a sperm cell or an ovum?
And don't start dissing faith immediately. It's a discussion and am open to all sort of views and ideas. I just want a simple, clear answer to what I ask. If there's no Higher Power why can't we be master of death and life ourselves. How is this happening all by itself?
Even a simple machine doesn't appear out of no where. It has a certain manufacturer. So where did we come from ? Aren't we probably the most complex of machines in scientific terms?
