Re: All You Can Eat!
I pointed prayers part because practically doing such things (keep on filling your plate in the fear that when you come back from namaz, you won’t find something in menu.. say a particular item in salad). This gives impression that we don’t follow the message of simplicity which is the concept behind Ramadan. In recent times, Ramadan has turned to be a food festival and many people openly accept this as well.
Just turned on radio today while driving from office to home. The RJ was talking about pakoRas, samosas, etc. didn’t utter a single word about ibadaat. I didn’t watch TV, but I’m sure people who did might come across cooking shows from all channels (including non-cooking channels). What does this say? Is Ramadan all about all you can eat during Ramadan?
