ive never seen alpha bravo charlie...how good is it?
Re: All time favorite drama
I've tried multiple times to watch Dhuaan and ABC and have failed miserably each time. Maybe it's just the bad camera print during those times that doesn't translate well on to dvd and I completely lose interest in watching the fuzzy pics.
Re: All time favorite drama
Well there are a lot of them that I watched in the eighties/early nineties which were absolutely amazing. In fact it was for the search of a drama on google that got me directed to this forum.
Shall list a few of my favourites..
Samandar
Waris
Ankahee
Tanhaiyaan
Dhoop Kinaare
Waqt
Dehleez
Fishaar
Raat
Chhaon
Din
Pyaas
Nasheman
Hazaaron Raste
Khwaaja and sons
Aangan Terha
Havent found Waqt, Dehleez, Nasheman on the net so far. So please upload them if someone has them, especially you muqawwee123](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/members/muqawwee123.html) , since you seem to have a damn good collection of the old classics.
We in Delhi used to wait for the VHS recordings to come and I remember that the Library wala used to rent them out for not more than 3hrs for each cassette of 2hrs as there would be a huge demand for them.
Re: All time favorite drama
Iโve Waqt in my collection. Will try to upload that soon

Wow, its interesting to hear that our pakistani dramas were treated the same way in India that bollywood movies were treated here back in those days...:)

Yes they were and also were in a greater demand than the Bollywood movies as only crap was being dished out in the eighties and the nineties from the Hindi film industry. Also unlike the dramas being played out on the Indian television wherein just to make money out of ads week after week, the story meanders and gets boring after a while, the Ptv dramas those days had tight scripts and great performances. I feel that the Dhoop Kinare inspired drama currently being aired on Sony also would go the same way. Anyway there is no comparison between the two.
Re: All time favorite drama
^ There is a dhoop kinare inspired drama on an Indian channel??? ![]()
Do you know what things are like now in India? Are people watching Pakistani dramas?
Re: All time favorite drama
Yes there is. Am forgetting the name. Is aired every evening at eight and gives due credit to Hasina Moin for the story.
