NC30 is on the paler side of medium to me.. I think of NC35ish as olive, (lightly) tanned or medium in terms of skintone (generally speaking, not in terms of just desis)..

is there an asian brand for makeup? i think that's why I prefer not wearing foundation b/c the european brands never get the color right. or is there an italian brand that's known, i feel like italians are varied in skintone just like south asians are. or atleast a middle eastern brand.

the european brands tend to go more pinky rather than yellow

^ Dolce & Gabbana is Italian, and so is Georgie Armani but I've never tried their foundations. I'd say Bobbi Brown is a pretty easy option for Asian skin tones.

the concealer color peach is perfect by bobbi brown. that is the color that totally matches my skin but they don't make the same colors for foundations which sucks. so i just put that on the uneven parts of my skin and that seems to do the trick. right now i'm just obsessed with getting my actual skin clear, healthy and glowing. i think south asian skin tones are boootiful
