All things Malala Yousafzai

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

I am not sure but the Nobel prize would be announced today I believe.

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

Which headline would you pref to read:

A 16 years old Pakistan girl wins Noble Peace Prize or 16 years old suicide bomber kills 200 people in Pakistan?

Btw, what I found amusing is that people are arguing that she hasn't done enough to deserve all that she is getting, and that she is no hero. Heroes standout in times of hardship and take on challenges & that is just what she did. She stood up to brutal savages and got bullet in the head for it.

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

Yup, at 9 am GMT, less than 4 hours from now. And Malala Yousufzai WILL win the Nobel Peace Prize!

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

One of the few saner article to come from NFP’s pen.

Malala: The real story (with evidence) - DAWN.COM

**• Malala’s shooting was staged by intelligence agencies. The officer told the reporter that the whole shooting incident was a stunt planned by Pakistani and US agencies to pave the way for the Pakistani army’s invasion of North Waziristan: “It was all a drama,” he explained. “It was staged so the Pakistan army would have an excuse to invade North Waziristan.”
**
When asked why he was using the word ‘invasion’ when North Waziristan was a part of Pakistan, the officer replied: “North Waziristan is an autonomous Islamic Emirates. It has been like that for centuries. But our history books distort the facts and teach our children that it is part of Pakistan. The area has unimaginable amounts of oil, gold, copper, silver, bronze, coal, diamonds, gas and fossilised dinosaur remains underneath its rugged grounds. That’s what the Americans are after.”

Our reporter then asked whether he had any evidence to prove his claim.

The officer pulled out a few photographs and showed it to the reporter. The photographs showed a few bones. “Dinosaur bones,” he explained.
He added: “These were excavated in North Waziristan by the archaeology division of the Taliban. After they were studied by the geology division of the Taliban, it had traces of oil, gold, copper, silver, bronze, coal, diamonds and gas.”

October 1, 1997: Malala is born to Hungarian parents in Budapest and named Jane.

October 4, 2002: The parents are recruited by the CIA and given a crash course in evangelical Christianity, hypnosis and karate.

October 7, 2003: They land in Pakistan and head for Swat posing as NGO workers. They get in touch with a low-level ISI agent, and convert the family to Christianity, leaving Jane with him. He changes her name to Malala and instils in her the fear of Jesus.

October 30, 2007: Malala starts to write a blog that asks the militants of Swat to put down their weapons, pick up a Bible and boogie.

October 21, 2011: The militants request her to stop writing her evangelical blogs and finish her homework instead.

October 1, 2012: CIA recruits a Pashtu speaking Italian-American loner (Robert) living in New York and gives him a crash course in gun-slinging and acting.

October 7, 2012: CIA shares plan of Malala’s fake shooting with the ISI. The ISI agrees and gives Malala and her parents a briefing.

October 11, 2012: The Italian-America arrives in Swat posing as an Uzbek homeopath.

October 12, 2012: Robert is given a gun that is loaded with blanks. He intercepts Malala’s school van and fires blanks at her. She pretends to be hit and squeeze opens a small pack of Mitchel’s Tomato Ketchup she is hiding in one of her hands and rubs the ketchup all over her face. A fake ambulance suddenly arrives on the scene and takes away Malala. The world is told that she was shot in the face and head by a Taliban fanatic.

The story that ran in the media quoted Malala’s friends in the van saying that the gunman asked for Malala and then shot her.

But the officer shared with us the testimony of one of Malala’s friends that was repressed by vested interests in the media.

According to the testimony, a man stopped the van and shouted (in Pashtu), ‘who is Jane … I mean, Jeanette … no, Alberta Joan Lucas?’

The girls looked at each other in confusion and the driver was about to drive away when the gunman pulled out a gun and started to shout: ‘Uno momento, un momento …’

Then looking at a girl he asked: ‘You lookin’ at me?’ At which Malala threw down her school bag and shouted (in Italian): ‘No you idiot, I AM lookin’ at you. Malala, Malala, remember? Fool.’

Saying, ‘Oh,’ he shot her (with the blanks).

• The girl that the media was shown in the hospital was not Malala. The officer shared with us some photographs to prove this. He first showed us a video (on his iPhone) that he shot hours after the shooting. It shows Malala joyfully bungee jumping on the hills near River Swat.

Then the officer informed us that the doctor had the earwax samples of the girl in the hospital. When we contacted the doctor again and asked what the samples proved he said that the DNA he extracted from the sample suggests that the girl in the hospital was not a girl at all. It was a pillow.

He said he had managed to sneak into the operating room (posing as a postman) and while he was secretly drawing out earwax from the girl’s ears, he managed to take a picture of the girl with his Nokia phone.

‘I came back and was shocked when I enlarged the picture,’ he said.

He then gave us a printout of the picture …

We believe there is now enough evidence for Pakistan and the international community to have a serious re-look at the Malala story and demand that the United Nations orders a full investigation into the matter.

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

Who is nfp?

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

Well yes but also not really ... There are child actors all over America who have been primed and groomed to deliver a good performance ... By their own parents.

She has some good traits ... Her father is ultimately responsible for her success as a good orator and the values she holds ... At the moment she sounds like a politician ... There is no real substance to her message ... She is merely saying that she is going to "resist threats" ... That is brave ... But she is bolstered by a huge backing from the West. It is a noble trait nonetheless.

She is striving for education ... At what cost? First of all, is there a problem there anyway? ... When we think about it ... The education for girls is not a major issue ... There is no real opposition to girls being educated ... So who or what is she campaigning for or against? If she comes to office and she puts in a contribution of education ... What change will that make?

No, rather she is offering something more than education ... She is a voice against the rebellion, but she is not balanced in her voice against all injustices ... She sweetens to the West and the powers of the West and she defies the rebels ... A person who stands for truth will be lonely in this world ... As they will oppose the rebels and the establishment together ... She is not doing that ... That is why I have a bad taste in my mouth ...

She is a commissar (Read Chomsky about Commissars and Dissidents)

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

All the talks about her fights against Taliban are all good and dandy. Good for Pakistan.

From from an outsider's perspective, nominating her for Nobel Prize is just taking the piss. It really is. The little girl is yet to achieve a remarkable academic qualification. Let her actually spend 'big part' of her life excelling in education and spreading the knowledge to make a real difference. For now, she's just an enthusiastic and brave teenager. So let the Nobel Prize go to 70 year old scientists who've spent their entire lives finding a cure for incurable diseases or people who've spent decades fighting for justice on the ground without having the media turn them into cash cows.

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

She has achieved more in last 16 years of her life than most of us will in our entire lives. You can call her whatever you like, but to question her sincerity, and real cause she is fighting for (girl's education) is utterly repulsive. Btw, even before she was thrust on to global stage she & her family were fighting for girls education in Swat. She was given national award for her work by GoP in 2011...a full year before taliban savages try to murder her in cold blood.

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

^she is not nominated in science research. But either in peace Nobel prize there are also few very ethentic names other than her

Nobel Prizes 2013 | Reuters.com

Balazs Koranyi reports Norwegian public broadcaster NRK said that the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), which oversees the destruction of Syria’s arsenal, will win the 2013 Nobel Peace Prize.

NRK has a strong track record reporting winners and last year announced that the EU would win an hour before the official statement. Experts from the Hague-based global chemical weapons watchdog, supported by the United Nations, aim to help destroy Syria’s chemical weapons production facilities and weapons-filling equipment by November 1. Under a Russian-U.S. deal struck last month, Syria’s entire chemicals arms program is due to be eliminated by mid-2014.

The $1.25 million (£781,445) prize will be presented in Oslo on December 10, the anniversary of the death of Swedish industrialist Alfred Nobel, who founded the awards in his 1895 will.

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

And prize goes to OPCW

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

Yeah, according to some, talibans are the root cause of all other problems in Pakistan. :smack:

Her job is done and she should focus on other issues if really sincere.

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

Pakistan was in good news for good fortnight because of her. Thank you for that Malala

Nobel tu aate jaate rehte hayn ;)

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

Now I am angry... humari larki ko Nobel prize kion naheen mila :(

I saw her speaking for the first time. I really pray she has healthy and happy life.
May allah bless her...

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

I agree with her message. I just wonder if being turned into a celebrity, willingly or not, is going to help or hinder her message.

Women's education is clearly a real issue. Denying that is just silly. But solving the problem requires removing the TTP. That's going to have to be done by the government of Pakistan, not Malala. Unfortunately the public is fixated on Malala instead of the government and the TTP.

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

With the type of "support" she has its not impossible for someone to stand, especially if the father has joined hands with the "support". Now I am not saying what she is doing or saying is useless.

Would you like an orange or an apple with that?

I don't know how one would bring such a comparison, unless you are saying every 16 year old is aspiring to be a suicide bomber while Malala is stopping them.

Re: All things Malala Yousafzai

It’s good that she didn’t get Nobel prize otherwise we would have been hearing screams of some global conspiracy for the next many months.
