try isphaghol or metamucil with a full glass of water. it's for constipation, but since its gelatinous, it expands in your stomach so you'll eat less. also the fiber will reduce the insulin surge after eating. fewer insulin surges=less fat storage
**Please **help me as well, well I work 12 hours and take care of my ill mother the rest time-----I don't get much time to go out to the gym and stuff......I was on Steroids for long time and have gained a lot of weight.............I need to shed all of it, but I have problem cuz I never get serious about it. I take other chores more seriously than cooking specially for myself (boiled or baked stuff) also I get lazy to exercise...Our house is two level so I can do stairs....I have a jump rope but never oppened it....I have a cardio exercise machine but dont use it lol............Please Help me and motivate me...........due to steroids my heart beats go sky hight when I do little work............I am off the steroids Alhumdolilah but now need help to focus on my health and shed all the wieght, eat healthy, exercise and over all live healthy.
Please tell me how should I start and be focused at this important thing.
Oh to add one more thing, My matoblism is Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyy Slow, Seriously and that is due to steroids also................I had to work really hard to stay where I was---------my sistar would lose weigh when we use to workout together but I would not, but I would shape up though.

Just curious what doc says, how long its going to be before your body flushes out steroids?
As you describe, for now jumping rope is going to be little hard. I am not sure if you would be able to do it for long.
I suggest start with long comfortable walk. Once workout gets in you routine and you get little endurance. We will get you started with jog.
We will be able to utilize the rope too :) but later.

Or concentrate on two things gym and may be jog. Day you don’t have time just go out and jog. for 20/30 mins. That way you can be active more day.
I am glad you know how to use the machines, Now use them!
Be warned Working on the wights once or twice a week may make you sluggish. So weights only, when you do them often. Are you good at cardio machines??

i m 5"4 heighted..n m almost 69 kg...i go 2 aerobics class 6 times a week n do aerobics of abt 45 or 50 mins....i m a medical student n i get out of ma house at 6 in morning n cum bk home around 7 in evening dan i go2aerobics class n get bak home arond 8 30 or so..dan i hav 2 sit n study n dan go 2 sleep...though i got a 1.4kms track infront of ma house for walk but man i dont hav time...i hav a 30 waist n 37 hips,..i hav heavy arms n da thing i hate most r my side pockets of hips...though ma body is gettin into a little shape by aerobics but these side pockets r still un affected...i want 2 hav that fflat stomach n 22 or 23 inches waist al ma cousins havvvv....i wana b 50kg like ma cousins mann

i hav got a stair case of 22stairs n i ggot a treadmilll...an abb king pro....a cycle n a twister at ma aerobics class place n no otha machines...n remind u i dont use ny of these machines ...n i dont feel like running on tread milll ................

hmmmm its nice you are keeping your self active. How is your fitness level?
lets do it. stop your aerobic class for a week or so.
And jog in the track(1.4kms). Start where you feel comfortable and do it for a week.
Towards end of the week push your self and time it.
And let me know how many lap you were able to do and how long it took.
Make sure after each running session you use those abs machine at home. Going up/down stairs few time will help building stamina too.

Since you are already active I was hoping...more like jogging. Would that be a problem??
You got to give me whole aerobic schedule to look at.
If you can run for 30/40 mins plus light weight training you might not need aerobic at all.

well i dont think i can jog 4 thirty mins continously ...wud da brisk walking wud b equally effective?n i dont know wats weight training all abt?
i do alot of streching n jumping n use steppers at times in ma aerobics class.do a little of yoga as well....
u telme wats weight training n how is it performed..i learnt somwhr frm here dat weight training makes u lose more calories n beetter results..

hi monk...
well i did take ma aerobics class...
then i went for a walk n walked for about 3.6kms....i did brisk walk n little bit running in between as well/...ma jog track is of 1.8kms
i made first round in 15mins
i made 2nd round in 13mins..
came back home n climbed stiars 20 times..there r 30stairs in ma stais case..
wat do u say?was it fine 4 2day?i will increase one more round by 2mrw if ma stamina permits me inshallah...

hmm not bad at all.
Watch your progress closely. See if going up/down stairs give you enogh strength to actually jog the whole loop.
I have feeling you will be able to to that soon.
Do this:
Have 2 laps in your mind.
Start with jogging, go as far as you could. When tire,d complete what ever is left by walking.
Make it a routine. See how it goes.
you will get enough strength from cross training on stairs.
consider doing sit up/crunches too. It will help achieving it faster.
