I have been doing the 4 you specified for a few weeks now (they guys made my plan). The shape is starting to come through. Moving up in weights next week for the pulldown and triceps.

Re: All the ladies who want to lose weight from tummy, hips and arms…
I just want fat on my upper arms monk ![]()
But i guess tht is not possible:(
Thank you BBQ,
ok hareem
noitce that.
1-4 are both on the shoulder. Infact 1 covers most part or the shoulder.
In order to tune/build them, 1= All pulling exercises. Including chinups/ pulleys dumble pulls (you could do it at home) 4= pressing exercises. shoulder press(you lift weight up- over the head) , some what push ups.
2= Triceps, dumble extension I guess reha's video had them, 3=dumble curls.
5= I mostly will build it self while you are working on other exercises.
Now all those parts compose the shape of the arm.
Good news is more parts means more area to improve :)
This is great. I was kinda sick of doing the same work out everyday so at the moment I'm not doing any particular work out, just 20 to 30 minutes running with bricks in both my hands in the evenings. lol
I'll try these ones though. Thanks for the info.

Re: All the ladies who want to lose weight from tummy, hips and arms...
When I go home I will find some stomach work out video and post them.
One thing you need to remember you got to start easy but you need to get burning sensation in every set.
And if you do any cardio with situps/crunches(you will see them in the video) you will see results faster.
:D that not an easy one. good job.
Honestly speaking, I can't run for more than 10 minutes like that. :D But I'm getting there.
Re: All the ladies who want to lose weight from tummy, hips and arms...
its very boxer like work out. :D

Well. Let's see. When I started a few weeks back I did 2 sets of bicep curls (20 reps each arm). Then 3 sets of 20 reps. Yesterday I did 2x25 with 2kg, then 10 reps each arm of 4kg, finishing with 15 reps with 2kg.
Similar thing for the lateral pull down but I'm unsure of the exact weight as they are calibrated.

Monk Help me out!
I have gained about 5-8 pounds... it's mostly in my stomach area, upper back and hip area. I didn't realizw how such few pounds make a huge difference, I can't fit into some of my work pants and my shalwar kameez are tight around the shoulder/upper back area.
Ramadan is starting soon, after it is over I plan on joining a gym (btw I think you are from Toronto, any recommendations which gym to join?)
So from now until the end of Ramadan I can work out at home, I have access to arm band weights, stairs and Taebo work out dvds.
Please suggest a workout routine for now and when I join the gym.
Thanks :)!

Re: All the ladies who want to lose weight from tummy, hips and arms...
Ok so heres the problem.. I gained about 35-40 lbs after my shaadi and I need to lose it all. Im giving myself about 6 mnths to do this and I really need your help.
I have access to cardio/weight training equipment at my gym. I used to walk before but now not so much because I have knee problems due to my weight gain, but I can definitely give it a shot.
At the gym I usually do 15-20 mins of cardio on an elliptical/bike and then do about 30 mins of strength training. Would it be better if I just did cardio for now and left the weights for later on? Or should I do both together to keep it in sync?
I hired a trainer to help me out and I managed to gain 10 lbs under his supervision because he wasnt regular in coming to the gym and keeping apptments so whatever cancellations he made I either never went in or went in and didnt really push myself!
Please please help out - thanks :)

hmmm
How long have you been doing it? and how many times a week?
It is not bad work out, did you gain weight during that?
Other weight gain, what improvement you made?? more athletics now?? how about strength?
I think you can spend some more time on cardio, but I am glad you give more time to strength training too.
Please write your strength training routines.

Staircase is good work out.
Start real slow. may be 10-15 in a one story house.
Once you do it for like a week or so let me know. I will post some stretching and crunches videos.

Join any gym. If you have special interests then you can go to boxing/kick-boxing gym too.
For pure back and shoulder area you need to do all work outs in which pulling is involved.
Ideally with cables. Do 20+ reps.
the traditional situps are so boring to do
i wonder if there are some tummy exercises which are different but affective too
i'll check youtube
