I respectfully would state that this is not panic. This should have been done 3 weeks ago. An ounce of prevention is something something as the saying goes. This is a pandemic. The panic part is people hoarding stuff. That is selfish behavior. I could not even get milk and yogurt, let alone rubbing alcohol and Kleenex. Because people buy way more than they need. As madmoiselle says this adversely affects the poor.

I hear you and very sorry to know you couldnt find the necessities. Can you find it online? I would say try going whole foods in the first hour of when it opens up. Also stop&shop. Good luck.
