do you accept there are stones inside the kabba?...

Do you really read and understand what you cut & paste? What you have posted does not really mention of stones inside kaaba. It really is NOT unbelievable that after years at Gupshup and being told umpteenth time you still can't get that there are no stones in Kaaba.
^
and u think thats inside kaaba???
find me one reference, muslim or non-muslim (a reliable one ofcourse), which states that this stone is inside the kaaba…
atleast u shud have read about it properly…
P.S. it is reported of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he stood before the stone and said “u r no more than a stone but i will kiss u ONLY because the Prophet (saw) did it”…
so thats all the importance that the stone has…
something kissed by a prophet so ppl kiss it too…
no other religious verdicts attched to it…

I never understood those who believe that "God" could be so petty or jealous that his first and foremost rule is you shall have no other Gods. God is everywhere. You can pray to the trees and still be praying to "God". He is not some robed, bearded man with human characteristics such as jealousy.

seminole that does clash with sentences like
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
at the same time i dont want to get involved in gods own petty infighting and own issues, whether its apollo being punished, or Odin's wrath on Thor..or other such assorted pungay baazi.
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

I differ from most here in that I believe religous texts and 'words from God' are meant to be symbolic and not taken literally. To me that sentence means the way to God is through the things Jesus preached or maybe through the acceptance of him as God's prophet.
Seminole but there are many..many others who take it as the literal word and follow it and believe in that to the dot. In some previous interactions I have said the same about some hadith and ayats that they are not quite as literal in meaning as people make them out to be, but are more of a guidance.
and if we dont look at things literally but understand what is being tried to convey, then this entire post is waste because its semantics :)
Fraudz, I believe historical religous texts to be symbolic, not our posts on gupshup. I think the God-inspired words of scripture are symbolic so mankind will be able to use them at any point in his development.
