hahaha...baRe ho ke bhii chai'n na paayaa to kidhar jaayeNge? isii kaa naam zindagii hai...we must always 'GIVE' rather than 'GET'...we were told that 'if you GIVE love N respect NOW, you'll GET the same in return when we are older'...may be you are NOT old enuf! just hang in there...wait till you are 60 plus! :)

It happens, and in your case you are living with in-laws, therefore you are advised by your fil/husband/mil to behave in certain way.
It is frustrating for you, but you know it is always tough to live with in-laws, you are stuck in a most conservative region of the country, but that does not mean you have lost all thing. Look at your future years, those will be amazing.

I can understand being told when we are chote........we all need to learn......but if you are barey and you still need to be told then something is wrong.
