Point 2: Men will look at other women - 'tis true. Perhaps there are like a grand total of 5 in the world who have eyes only for their wives. But your friend is right, IMHO. But you already said it yourself. Both men and women need to grow up to be in a marriage. Why not just accept that he’s going to look at other ladies? The thing to worry about is whether or not he keeps his dick in his pants (well, outside your home).

This reminds me of how a Japanese kid my Ethics in Business class mentioned how Japanese women don’t mind their husbands having an affair with another women, so long as the husband doesn’t go around spending money on the other lady. However, as soon as money gets involved, according to the Japanese women (or culture) it’s taking too far and is equivalent to crossing the limits.

just like bachelerotte life has its ups and downs. Married life does too. It is what you make of it :) It is your choice to stay miserable or have the best time. Yes, married life does come with a lot of responsibility. It depends if you are willing and eager to take on those responsibilities.

Men don't just look, women do too. Its just eye candy, nothing else. Theres no harm in appreciating someone pretty or good looking by looking at them. People come with all different types of faces, be it stunning, vibrant, sensuous, elegant, simple etc. You may love the way your wife, hubby or partner look but occasionally you will see a different face and be curious to look.

Keep it that way and don't let those looks turn into lust. Thats the trick.

Yeah man, I am so not ready for a married life and kids, but that doesn’t mean I dont want someone special in my life, I just dont see myself in a wifey role just yet. Why doesn’t Islam allow for casual flings when I can see him just once a week. I dont want a dude in my face 24-7, when I wake up, when I come home…eek frightening!

Marry a consultant…He either is traveling or at work till 10pm Monday -Thursday…

Good god. Ok if you guys want to do the following all in one day and love it please by all means live alone. After living alone for 3 years, i must say i found it a very important experience but get me back to family asap.

1. Wake up.
2. Cook for yourself alone.
3. Leave.
4. Spend the entire day at work.
5. Come home to an empty house.
6. Cook and eat alone.
7. Do your laundry.
8. Do your shopping.
9. None of your friends are free as they are busy with family or other stuff.
10. Watch tv or surf the net alone till time to sleep.
11. Repeat for the next 3 weeks.

Not to mention doing the cleaning, washing, and coming home to a very empty house. This is very much a case of the grass being greener on the other side of the fence, with nobody with any real experience commenting on how it sucks ass.

If you think living alone is such a blast. try sending your family off for 1 week and you do everything for yourself.

SS, I have never totally ruled out the idea of marriage. Just so happens that at times I feel like staying with parents is better. I admit I have a few things that bother me, which I have to somehow get over with, insha'Allah.

Yeah i can understand that. Luckily i am back with family now so i can really see the difference between my habits and self-esteem before when i was alone and now that i am back with family. Nothing beats living with family. Being a bachelor is fine as long as you can drive to the family whenever need be.
