Why don’t u post the ‘correct data’ then or at least link to it, after all most people don’t really believe there are ten times as many females in the world as men lol and yes, I’m aware that Islam allows a man to take 4 wives when certain conditions are met (ie he can afford to house and look after them and treat them all equally, that doesn’t mean every man out there is allowed to do it).
It was recommended back then esp during times of war when there were a lot of widows and whilst I do still believe it’s allowed and can be beneficial in some situations, there aren’t that many women around right now that need marrying as there were in those times. Of course, technically speaking a man can marry again for whatever reason he likes but he should still act decently, not treat the whole thing as a joke.
