So let’s say you’re getting married in 2 months and all the makeup artists around your area are on strike [indefinitely], and all the dress designers you like aren’t accepting any orders due to some government ban, what are you going to do…postpone your wedding or go for generic outfits from a regular store, and have your bestfriend do your makeup?

I would design my own outfit from pics that I like, and I would do my own makeup, or have my cousin do it.

I got my best friend to do my make up on my wedding day, only because she's good, she knew exactly how to "make me up" and she was free!!!!!!
Iv had ghastly experiences with having my make up done by someone else, never came away feeling great:(

I would do my own makeup and wear my mom's shaadi gharara revamped with a newer modern twist. My mother is an excellent seamstress and has the proper training in how to make bridals .... i would take advantage of this :D She always says she regrets she does not live in pakistan and have the time to actually do what she went to college for!!

I do not think the stuff on the shelf is terrible as compared to designers. one can find something really luvely .. its all about what catches ones eye. I have found stuff I luv in designer shops in liberty and stuff I luv equally as much at anarkali bazaar.
