Any “Suicidal Tendencies” fan around (of course by one in a millionth chance) or non-fan around? Ever listened to Institutionalized? Any other of their recommended songs if any?

Try--- Monopoly On Sorrow----I love it's lyrics
Institutionalized is a typical 80's heavy metal song...what u say?
P.S: I am not a great fan of ST ( music--too hard & crude for me to swallow)
I wont call Institutionalized a "typical" 80s heavy metal song. Probably musically it is, but the vocals are kinda different from the normal metal vocals. They are clean though screaming is there and overall it is very rappish (not a very normal thing for an 80's metal band to do).
Actually, this is the only ST song that I have heard. And the style of vocals; and more than that the honest, clear-cut, in your face, everyday kind of lyrics really made me listen to this song more than once. Well of course the theme is kinda teen-agish but its very honest and straight forward.
As for the hard/heavy part ... no ... actually its not heavy enough for me :) but I do appreciate the melodic riff.

They pretty cool. I saw them live back in the late 80's, they were good live. Does that guy still wear a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball cap?? :)
lol. Man, I was so shocked on seeing this thread back up!!! See, there is something about this song which, to be honest, makes me smile even though its no laughing (or smiling) matter. As I said earlier, its kinda in your face. I really like it.
