Mr. times have changed now. It is not the Cold War era. An over-powered Punjab is in the interests of no one whether Sindhis, Pashtuns, Baluchis, Muhajirs, Siraikis, Kashmiris, people of Northern Areas, and major powers in the region or global players (except perhaps China and Saudi Arabia).

Pakistan may not be perfect but its still better then whats out there. I only see what I see, and all I see are Pathans who have have become extremely succesful and prosperous. Karachi is filled with succesful Pathan bussiness men. Most jobs that are done in Pakistan will be done through Pathan and often times Afghan laborers.Pathans are the ones that get most of the jobs.
One of my local Nazims I have heard just happens to be a PATHAN! And this is in Punjab.
Nota to mention the fact that there are many projects slated to be developed in NWFP. The extension of the Motor way too is also to reach Peshawar soon. You also have the Kohat tunnel etc.
We took in 3 million Afghan refugees, without any compensation and all we get is more rubish from people like you. We never caused the problems in Afghanistan but Afghanistan has ALWAYS been an enemy of Pakistan and we will never allow them to destory our country. Those damn refugees are everywhere, they even infest parts of Punjab, and we accpet them!
Even now when they dont go back, they simply take and take and then spit on you in return.

When you have a people who can live of our land, a country that can hardly support its own population, and yet still curse you in the same breath, what else can you call them. Had they stayed in NWFP, prhaps one could say they were living in only one part and not turning all of Pakistani into their personal property, one could say it was ok, but they spread everywhere, even down to Karachi.. And yet we are the ones the curse...

Same token, why are they still in Pakistan, now that Afganistan is free of the taleban etc, if they still don't return volutarily, why is that? Do they have a better life in Pakistan?
