I don’t know validity of this poll. Never the less..i am quiet disturbed by this poll. In anyway, my prayers are with our Syrian and Iraqi brothers and sisters..who are suffering because of these dogs of hell ISIS.

I have taken no extreme position here. Simply pointing out the ridiculousness of those who would assign such a large margin of error to a poll.
Since you brought up our discussions from another thread, let me repeat - moderates are overrated. Those who see “both” sides of every issue when there is only one.

Not bringing anything from any other thread. This is your modus ope*****. You see anything, anywhere, marginally bad about Muslims/Islam and you go around asking everyone here to condemn it. When someone points out the nasty in India.. you and your cohorts here start questioning the source or intent. Why is it ok for you to question the source or reliability or intent about what is posted about India but not for us? And why should everyone here do it anyways?

When people start making excuses rather than acknowledge there is a big problem, no point feeding that beast.
Just as there is no point arguing with “moderates” who opine the top 1 percent pay their fair share of taxes in the US. These moderates get bent out of shape when presented with facts - that a 15 year old would grasp. Talk to them about uneven playing fields - they brush it off. Talk to them about higher gasoline prices in poorer neighborhoods and they would taking the position you are “spewing” extremism.
Carry on, Moderate. Don’t got notn to say to you.

Its not about maligning Arabs or condemning Muslims, its about acknowledging a problem which seemingly exist. Of course online polls can be prone to shenanigans, but would we not have been worried if the vast majority voted for Taliban in a poll on Dawn for example? Or would we not have questioned it if the vast majority voted for some right-wing nut job agenda on a reputable Indian news agency’s online poll?
As Ali Syed correctly pointed out, in Pakistan there was large public support for Taliban before Taliban came a bit too close to home. I remember my own cousin in Pakistan staunchly defending Taliban as late as 2009.
What is causing this support among Al Jazeera’s Arabic readers, for ISIS’ latest advances in Iraq and Syria? Is it a shia/sunni issue? Or perhaps the Arabic version of Al Jazeera is really just an outlet for far right-wingers? Or does ISIS’ ideology resonate with many in that region, and they don’t think the ideology is bad (until it blows up in their face)?
