Alim

Does anyone know any decent alim to cure black magic? My family s going through some tough times & it is because of magic as our relatives are into all this & get jealous of us.
Can anyone help?

Re: Alim

Yes, it's called the Holy Quran. Recite it as often as you can, and ask Allah for help directly.

[quote]
Al-Bukhaari (6472) and Muslim (220) narrated from Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Seventy thousand of my ummah will enter Paradise without being brought to account; they are the ones who did not ask for ruqyah or believe in omens or use cautery and they put their trust in their Lord.” These people will enter Paradise without being brought to account because of the perfection of their Tawheed, their complete trust in Allah and their independence from people.
The one who asks for ruqyah from others is not included in that seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without being brought to account, due to the shortfall in their trust in Allah, because asking for ruqyah involves a kind of humiliation and need of the raaqi (the one who performs ruqyah), and part of complete trust and Tawheed is that the Muslim should not ask people for anything.

Re: Alim

agree vehemently with brother teggy.
recite the verses that the holy prophet s.a.w. has designated to counter magic as well as other surahs.
in my opinion, seeking remedy with a raaqi makes you no better than the person that has taken the aid of magic to harm you.

Re: Alim

Peace chipships,

Could you please tell us that how you came to know that it is black magic? Just curious to know.

Re: Alim

I don't see it as any different than seeing a doctor if you're sick.

Re: Alim

An aalim is a religious scholar. What you're looking for is an aamil (some aalims may be aamils but it's not always the case).

Re: Alim

if you are seeking advice on what medicine to take and are directed to verses in the Quran, then yes, I agree.
but if there is anything else involved.....e.g. provide this or that item, read ayahs/surahs other than those prescribed by authenticated hadees, etc, etc, then I would disagree.

Re: Alim

I second lethal kamikaze's question, what signs made you come to the conclusion that you and your family are a target of black magic?

And I agree with teggy, the best cure is you reading the Quran yourself.

I replied to another posting, but I'll post here too. I encourage you to watch "Diaries of an Exorcist" video series on youtube. Great info that you can use in your situation. I pray Allah cure's you of your hardships, Ameen.

Re: Alim

I've watched some of his videos. He's quite knowledgeable and experienced. However, I disagree with him on certain points.

Re: Alim

Thank you for taking the time out to watch the videos.
I believe you follow the opinion of jinn-catching? I also watched ben Halima's videos and he is of the opinion that it is okay to catch jinns.

Re: Alim

That is correct.

Re: Alim

people get attacked by magic during their lifetime. Always turn to Quran, or someone who helps you turn towards Quran.

If magic begins to harm you, DO NOT FORGET, it is only effecting you because Allah has made it a test and a part of your course of life. Nothing harms except by the permission of Allah. Sometimes magic or a train or a speeding car will miss you by mere "inches" because you were not to be tested with that kind of difficulty. Sometimes it will hit you.

Turn towards Allah alone. DO NOT fear magic. fear anxiety and ignorance.
