Umm...I'm not sure that you understand the humor. Calling it "Muslimism" was clearly mocking the ignorant teacher, not Raja or his religion. That's the idea. It's making fun of ignorance without completely alienating the ignorant. People can laugh and yet still get exposed to something new.
Even an average five-year-old US kid - after being exposed to all this "Islamic terrorist" hula that surfaces the media almost every week - knows it's "Islam" and not "Muslimism". So they should have made it clear in the show taht either the teacher was born yesterday to show such ignorance or the tv-series is being filmed in some very illiterate and disconnected place in Africa and not Wisconsin.... or otherwise, everytime i will take it as an offense and not humor.
