Aliens in America is a sitcom series for The CW, that was being developed by NBC Universal Television Studio, for the 2007-2008 television season. It tells the story of a Wisconsin mom who arranges to host a foreign exchange student, believing the visitor will help her shy son become more popular. When the student turns out to be a Muslim teenager from Pakistan, her plans go awry.
Due to financial terms of NBC Universal, the series will now be produced by CBS Paramount Television and Warner Bros. Television, divisions of CW co-owners CBS Corporation and Time Warner, respectively.
