I just downloaded it and watching it right now.
His voice in the song is quite filmi. It’s pretty short for a song though, but I like it.
Now to the video:
I don’t understand why the need to be shirtless in the song? Ayewee trying to be Salman Khan.
sighz I think I’m falling in love with Ali Zafar all over again :(. I’m quite addicted to this song now.

Ali Zafar's acting gayer by the day... esp. that new Tapal advertisement was like hunh... since when did guys start singing in chorus to making a cup of chaye!

Re: Ali Zafar's Ek pal
Normally the songs become famous after the videos are released but Ali Zafar is setting the new trned i guess, i loved all of his songs untill he started making the videos.
Channo was bit better than the rest but others are too cheap and AIK PAL is no better than Rangeen or chal dil meray.
Re: Ali Zafar's Ek pal
okay, just saw the vid, DAMN!!!, ali zafar is hitting the gym regularly. He wasn't this buff even 6 months ago. By the way, at the end, I hope those were girls that was putting mud over his body, otherwise, errrm, well let's just say it comes off a bit gayish.
Re: Ali Zafar's Ek pal
I liked the video....it's very different and Ali Z has really worked on some of the shots. For a first time directorial attempt, its great stuff!
By the way kino, that crappy bolly actor isn't the only "shirtless" man in the world. And everything isn't "copied" either....
Re: Ali Zafar's Ek pal
Dont get it..why cant we just appreciate our artists 4 once? no wonder they all headin to india...n turn tables
Re: Ali Zafar's Ek pal
^^ That's true, though the framework of the music industry could be adjusted to make it more rewarding for the musicians. Channels like IM need to polish their act too in order to give the singers a platform which is at par with say MTV and the rest of the music channels.
Re: Ali Zafar's Ek pal
^ thats the problem with the pakistani media; we tend to follow trends without understanding the whole concept behind the trend...and we tend to do it at a very fast pace.
Re: Ali Zafar's Ek pal
^^ Everything in the world is "inspired" or "copied". Prior to MTV, the American Top 40 was hugely popular, and the format for that channel when it started was really based on the AM stations, with the radio jockeys transitioning to the "VJs".
That said, we need to Package our music right, marketing is pretty much the key --the product is really awesome but it lacks the right kind of hype. Music channels create that hype through slick presentation and prgramming, which happens to be the hallmark of channels such as MTV. IM needs to get to that level too -- I mean, they don't even have their own "Blurbs" which appear at the start of every video. On the other hand, they have done a lot, probably they lack the budget to get better, so hopefully the upcoming channels will carry the torch further. Once the singers know that these channels can get them to that high level of fame which they so aim for, I'm sure they'd be less enthusiastic on appearing on MTV and their likes, that is, purely to appeal to the Pak audience. To reach a wider audience and grabbing int'l markets etc. is totally another story.
Re: Ali Zafar's Ek pal
I don't get the video at all...I was expecting something like dancing in a mughul garden.
Re: Ali Zafar's Ek pal
