I visited Algonquin Park, which is located in Central Ontario and is the largest provincial park in Ontario. It is mostly accessible by canoe or walk. It is considered as a camping paradise and is open year round. The daily parking pass is $12 per vehicle. People usually stay in Huntsville if they are accessing Algonquin Park via west gate but many hotels, resorts and motels are also found in Dwight town (It is located between Huntsville and Algonquin Park). There are numerous trails found inside the park and the easiest of them all is Spruce Bog boardwalk. It is wheel chair accessible.
Qrius you have an eye for photography, I think everything around us is beautiful and worth taking a shot, from sunset to worn off shoes. It’s how photographer takes it. A beautiful sunset could even look unappealing if photo wasn’t taken properly and on the other hand ugly old worn off shoes could be eye catching if the photographer has done the job right.
I myself love photography, what camera are you using? The touch of a border is making photos more eye catching. Is it Photoshop or some other software?
How far is Algonquin Park from Toronto? Do they have campgrounds there? I might go there for our next camping. Just tired of Niagara now.
Ek Ajnabee, thanks. My camera is really old now. It’s fuji photoshot that we bought four years back or so. I do want a better camera because this one doesn’t have a good zooming option. I was literally over the head of the honeybee when i had to click the photograph. As for borders, its from yahoo photos. Yes, they do many campgrounds but you have to book really early to get them. They have private campgrounds and they also have campgrounds that are property of ontario parks. You can book one for yourself from www.ontarioparks.com
Maybe, you can do camping at many conservation parks in southern ontario. You don’t have to go to niagara region all the time. Try, elora gorge or tobermory also for camping trips.
Mehnaz, Thanks. It’s abour 250 km as they mention on the highways. It takes about 3 hours actually to get there. We went for 3 days but a quick day trip can be performed if you leave home early morning.
Very nice compositions! You have a good eye! However, you definitely need to change the camera. Some of the pictures are not sharp and are out of focus.
