Soccer is my passion and i’m mad 'bout this game. This is very old new when an Algerian soccer player, Hocine Gacemi, on sunday, in Parisian Hospital in France after an accident during a soccer match of the Algerian professional championship in Tizi Ouzou on Thursday, May 18th, 2000.
After he made a goal for his team, the JSK (Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie, the well-known Algerian team hailing from the Kabylie region), his head hit the ground and resulted in trauma to the brain. He immediately fell into a deep coma and was transported to Paris, where he died two days later. He was 26 years old.
