Pretty good job to get the score up to 200+ after a poor start. Apart from Malik, there were also good contributions from Yasir Hameed and Razzaq. A very defendable total, although NZ will have the luxury of no pressure having already qualified which will make things a lot easier for them but we still have a great chance to KO Sri Lanka.
Shoaib Malik is turning out to be quiet a batting prospect for Pakistan. Yasir batted well and so did Razzaq. A good defendable total.

Yasir Hameed looked impressive with the bat, seems like in Imran Nazir stance and style but with less technical faults…
Insha’allah this score will be enough for pakistan to book a place in the final.
Plenty of pace and aggression in the opening 3 overs from Shoaib and Sami but I'm not really sure they are hitting the right areas, i.e. outside off stump. Getting Fleming out early will be the key to this one.

Nevin surving a dropped chance and good lbw shout off Shoaib. Otherwise both bowlers haven't even beaten the bat with the new ball which is pretty poor going. NZ bowlers certainly got much more movement in their opening spell. These guys are chucking it away.

ehsan, does this pitch look a lot easier to bat on than some of the previous one’s or are is it that our fast bowlers didn’t really do much with it?
I dont think the pitch is that easy to bat on. It is more suited to the medium paceers and slow bowlers rather than the fast bowlers. Rashid should bring on Razzaq and Kaneria quite soon. Hafeez has already broken through.
