good game. SL lost last 7 wickets for 22 runs.:k: good performance by Shoiby, but he could have done better. at the end, fantastic job by all bowlers.

Great Game by Pakistan!
I thought some of the batsman batted particulary well, specially Hafeez, Younis Khan, Faisal Iqbal.
Why?
If you saw the match, it was a complete bowlers pitch, the ball wasn't coming on the bat at all, and the fast bowlers and the spinners were getting a lot of movement.
Bowling was very good, I liked the way Umar Gul bowled today, kept the pressure on the batsman at all times.
Shoaib and Sami were their usual dangerous, a great opening pair in the making.
Credit should go to Rashid Latif, he never gave during the 2nd inning.
Lets not forget Shoaib playing the Kiwis. It always brings out the best in him.
I still remember his bowling performance in Karachi when he took his career high of 6/16.
yes batsmen though looked ugly with thier ploy , were effective.
Sami and Shoaib is going to be a good potent pair for Pakistan. Though Shoaib has not shown his true venom yet but i think he is better off without it coz thats when his mental condition suffers too

Well, it’s good to see Pakistan defended such a low score on a slow pitch and outfield. Our bowlers really made us proud. The comeback of Akhtar, perfect line and length of Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez and Mohammad Sami(though he struggled but got it right in the end); and crucial wicket of Marvan Attapatu taken by Razzaq made Pakistan’s way to Victory.
Only two factors Pakistan has to work on i.e Extra Runs and Running between the wickets. Rest of the departments are improving great, specially fielding. It was off the hook! :k:
I agree PA, the fielding was great today and is definately inproving.
hey, guys, let's not expect too much from Shoiby. Whenever we expect him to come out good, he let us down.

Let's hope Pakistan play good tonight, I would like to see some new faces, I hope to see Faisal Athar (opener) or Yasir Hameed (another good batsman and wicketkeeper), i would keep bowling the lineup the same.
Shaib malik & Shaib Akhter both bowl real well, I would keep them for the match tonight against New Zealand.
Even though Umar Gull didn't get a wicket but his bowling was excellent and he should definitely play against Zealand, however I would replace Tufeeq Umer with Faisal Athar or Yasir Hameed.'
If they really wants to keep Tufeeq then they should let him play on #3rd or #4th, please not as an opener, he is too slow, no batsman's tactics.
I would rather see him play moderately, control the crease and not take chances (bad shot selection) but do take singles and doubles and when every he could tries to capitalize on bowlers mistakes.

I was very surprise to see Pakistan win, I thought 200 runs target would be piece of cake for Sri Lanka; I think I under estimated Pakistani bowling side.
