Just wanted to say few words for a good ambassador of Pakistan. May Allah (swt) bless Pakistan with more sincere, reasonable and dedicated people like him who are blessed with honesty and a calm head. Also Asad Rauf seems to be a good person. Nice to know that there are people who are bringing good name to Pakistan at this level but are usally not much appreciated by the nation.(relatively)
He is a well-respected umpire. Well respected not just because he makes fewer blunders than most other umpires but also because of his cool and calm demeanour. How times have changed. The English once mocked our umpires in the 80s and now Dar has stood in 2 of the first 3 Ashes tests
