Re: Alcohol
Nope, I don’t know any nice and decent Muslim guy who drinks. I know a few Muslim guys who are into drinking and drugs but they are far from what I would classify as nice and decent in general. It depends what kind of people you hang out with, I guess.

Re: Alcohol
Majority of the guys (paki) I know drink. It is what it is.
Re: Alcohol
I am a guy in London and hardly 5% of the Pakistani origin guys I know drink or take drugs. It depends on your social circle.
Re: Alcohol
I contemplated drinking many times. But never did. What’s the point? I never drank all my life so why start now? It will barely effect my social life. It’s not gonna make me any more popular. I have been to pregame parties sober and it was quite funny seeing everyone getting unhinged. You feel the odd one out but I would rather do something else than get wasted with my friends. And after studying liver pathology and listening to so many addiction stories, it’s not worth it to take up that vice.
Re: Alcohol
The thing is out of 5-600 paki guys in and around my age that I know, I know three guys who has never ever touched the stuff, oh and 2 of my three brothers.
Re: Alcohol
Good point, maybe I just hang around with the wrong crowd.

I heard Mirpuris are really ghettoe #NotRayciss](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=NotRayciss)
Re: Alcohol
I don’t hang around with alot of mirpuris so wouldn’t know - they tend to hand with their relatives/cousins alot.
Re: Alcohol
Re: Alcohol
I’m just saying I don’t know how common it is because I never heard much of it until I heard that girls whom I knew of were rejecting rishtas from guys because they drink. This seems to be common among the types of guys who are sending rishtas to those girls.
Re: Alcohol
But what kind of guy would admit to drinking - I know I won’t. It’s something you don’t do on your own doorstep kind of thing; like sex.
Re: Alcohol
pretty much it
yeh you seem the wrong crowd too. #judgeysweefsjudgesagain](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=judgeysweefsjudgesagain)
Re: Alcohol
haha, i’m fully reformed nowadays.
Re: Alcohol
But why lie
gosh!
Re: Alcohol
This harkens back to this thread and the expectations for honesty and “disclosure” one partner has of another. Personally, worse than doing “something” is lying about it.

Re: Alcohol
how long will that last? till you and your “banker buddies” go out on a friday night? ![]()
don’t you like it when noobs come into life1 who are just fun to pick on? there’s much potential fun with badabing here.
Re: Alcohol
You can drink all you want but only thing that irks me is the reasoning
“oh we HAVE to drink due to business/social circle”
NO! you do not HAVE to, you WANT to. Just say it or don’t say anything. I am not asking for explanation, nor am i judging you.
Re: Alcohol
it’s lasted 5 years so far. I’m confident I won’t go back to it - I still go out, but just have a coke or juice. Alcohol rots your insides, not worth it.
Re: Alcohol
Yes!!! Gives us a chance to school them!
I feel like badabing has become a project of sorts and we’re trying to help him evolve ![]()
