If these product contain ethanol they would still cause stomach pain or death if consumed. spirits , perfumes medcine etc contain ehtanol. equating them to liquor is non-sense becasue they not intoxicants.
Liquor (wine beer etc )is just one type of intoxicants out of 1000s of intoxicants, consumption of which is not allowed islamically. And using them for other puposes is perfectly alright.
There is opium, from which they make heroine. Opium seeds (khash khas) are consumed normally in our food and medicine
In pakistan, children use a commercially produced glue named 'Samad bond' for this purpose. They inhale its smell and get intoxicated. This act does not make it haraam to use for its intented purpose.

The alcohol used in perfume, Shampoos, conditioners and others is different to the kind of alcohol found in the stuff they drink. Islam gives its reasons why it is not allowed and to be short the reason is because alcohol leads you away from the right path and affects consciencesness. Alcohol used in perfumes etc doesnt do this, i.e it doesnt make you drunk - so yes, it should be OK to wear.
