Is it legal or illegal? I came across a page saying that illegal there, but people sneak it in or drink secretly. I can understand that, thats just like how people smoke weed here in USA, but what about if Pakistan had an alcohol factory out in the open.

Is this real?

i live right next to murree brewery. kafi muattar bukharaat hotay hain fizaon main

anyway technically the consumption is only supposed to be for non-Muslims. but Muslims find ways to get both local and imported stuff.

And its illegal to consume but allowed to manufacture and I guess export? Am I correct?

It is legal to consume liquor if you are a non-muslim. Export is fine as well, so brewing beer is fine too, as long as you have a permit.

Well you can find alcohal in Pakistan very easily, infact a little kid can buy it and use it. But hey I'm talking about medicines(cough syrups) :P :D

It is illegal for Muslims to buy or drink alcohol in Pakistan, and i think that possession is illegal too.

Of course, with the corrupt police service, enforcement of the laws is nearly impossible. The police firstly don't intrude into people's personal lives to investigate whether or not individuals have anything to do with alcohol, and secondly even if they did, money or an offer of booze could in many cases resolve the issue.

its legal for foreigners only..but the murree brewery shops here mostly sell it to muslims ..u can go there n buy it as a muslim nobody will stop u..but you can't really trust the quality as it can be toxic ..they sell vodka,beer,whisky but no red wine or white wine

Without going into details whatsoever, for some reason, accursed Murree’s Classic beer, if you were a drinker, is the finest you will ever have from anywhere…

It is…It is the most tastiest brand of mango juice you can drink…Forget Maaza or Goya or any other brand…Once you drink Tops, your tension drops…:smiley:

But now they make apple, strawberry, lychee and others too..

I've had Tops, and its the best.

Smthing only available up in the Hazara division cause i never found them in karachi.
