Alcohol in Food

@mercenary2k

I need some clarification on this subject matter.

Many Western Cuisine use Alcohol either Wine or Beer in preparing food.

For example, many pubs serve Beer Battered Fish and Chips or if you go to Italian Restaurants many of their sauces, they add wine to it.

Is it Haraam to eat those food putting aside the Halaal aspect.

For example, Beer Battered Fish and Chips. Is it Haraam to eat that?

From what I remember the ruling is that … the forbidden things in large quantities are also forbidden in smaller quantities. (I don’t think they consider whether it makes you feel “tun” or not in the ruling)
