Not much of a surprise is it?? Not that this reflects any potential harm for Blair.. Nor does it necessarily lead to more proper behavior from those remaining..

Change to what? The conservative party? I'm sure that would make everyone happy. As much as some would like to compare great democracies like the UK to the despotic regimes of the ME - it is elections and democratic processes that change these governments. "Regime change" is a term coined when replacing dictatorships and theocracies of 3rd world countries.

I expected someone more senior to take the dive, the media man is like throwing a peanut to feed a herd of rampaging elephants at this point.
I hope for a democratic change in the US next year as well. Kind of hope Blair stays though. I sure pray there's not a regime change in your neck of the desert, Thap. God knows what kind of fundo wack job you'd get.
