Alan Smith quits Karavan, joins Junoon!!

Junoon had brilliant drummers in the past, from Malcolm to Gumby… When touring the US, they have the great ‘Jay Dittamo’ with them. However, they were lacking a decent drummer in their Pakistani concerts, but now they have Alan Smith from Karavan. Welcome to Junoon, Alan, even though you’ve been playing with Junoon as a session drummer since 1997! This is a huge loss to Karavan. This is what Karavan’s discussion site had to say…

From Karavan Admin:

We regret to inform you that Alan Smith will not be part of the upcoming shows. His new home is Junoon. The band wish him well and hope that he carrys on his legacy of great drumming. Good Luck Alan!

That's great news. I think his talent will be well used in Junoon. Karavan's mediocre compositions were waisting this genius's talent.
