These three names actually represent three different cultures.

lols. Javed Shaikh played an aged school master (Allahdino) who kidnapped a young girl and married her. That earned him title of ‘Pervert’. :hehe:

back to topic, Alif Leela’s Aladin was based in China, but still had such Arabic name.

I think the Aladin (original story) was based in the middle east.

It was written during Haroon u Rashid’s era in Baghdad, but probably they were not aware of Chinese names. The story got a link with China.

Allah Deen [Aladin] and Alaa~ Uddin are two different names with two different meanings while i think Allahdino is the regional variation of Allah Deen.

But how come a Chinese name be 'Aladin'. Allah Deen itself seems a regional version. Its structure is neither Arabic nor Persian
