Al Sadr Militia Beheading Iraqis

Man…This is pretty gruesome. Hard to believe that these “freedom fighters” have the best interest of anyone except themselves in their hearts.

EXCERPTS:

NAJAF, Iraq (Reuters) - Militants had just kidnapped and dragged his ailing 80-year-old father through the streets. They also beat his brothers until they collapsed. Forty of his men were killed and several were beheaded.

It’s tough being the police chief of Najaf, the Iraqi city that is sacred to millions of Shi’ites around the world and a battleground between Shi’ite militia, U.S. marines and Iraqi police and National Guard.

“What they did to my father was inhuman. He is a dying old man. They beat my brothers until they fainted,” he told reporters late on Monday night, as the sound of mortars being fired could be heard in a nearby cemetery turned battle zone.

BEHEADINGS AND KIDNAPPINGS

** They beheaded one of his relatives and Sadr’s Mehdi Army militants have gouged out the eyes of some of his officers and boiled them in hot water, he said. **

“Do Iraqi police behead people?,” he asked. This is barbaric. They enter people’s homes and they kill the relatives of policemen."

“Thirty minutes ago someone else was slaughtered,” he said at the bland, cement Najaf police station where a fresh batch of detained men were being processed.

Most of the fighters in Najaf are not from Najaf, they are from Sadr city in Baghdad.

Sort of on a Jihad road trip. What happens in Najaf stays in Najaf.....

MV those who want to make believe that Sadr is some kinda doo gooder will probably find an excuse or conspiracy angle here too.

After the occupiers asked all the press to leave, the spin starts. Watch for more spin to come.

the people who were beheaded was a spin too?

What to believe?

*it's hard to believe if these beheadings actually take place or if they're staged!!!!1 i've read articles which have commented on how ppl can successfully fool the vieweres by faking beheading video's. recently a american guy did it and "LIVED" to tell the story.

most of this is american propoganda don't pay much attention to it, they have taken it upon themselves to ridicule islam to the best of their ability.*

I'd think twice before believing anything as remember there are no journalists present in the Najaf/Fallejah area. It's just a free for all right now.

DID the sadar militia also tie dog leash to the victims?

We are trained by the media to think and act according to the sound bytes they feed us. If somene questions the media then the media has taught us to use labels like extremist, terrorist, unpatriotic..... for these "doubters".

You can fake beheading videos, but you cannot fake headless bodies.

Please tell that to the victims' families, I'm sure that they will believe your consipiracy theory. The truth is that it is groups using names like "Muhammed's Army" that ridicule Islam to the best of their ability when they equate jihad with beheading truck drivers and contractors.

For those of you who claim their are no reporters or media in Najaf, exactly what do you think the Reuters guys are???

This report is filed by Reuters from Najaf and is based upon an interview with the police chief. Reuters isn't making this story up.

Some of you probably wouldn't care if your eyes were gouged out and boiled since you certainly don't use them to see.

Don’t worry… pretty soon he will be a ‘good guy’.
Al-Sadr says militia will leave Najaf mosque](CNN.com - Al-Sadr says militia will leave Najaf mosque - Aug 18, 2004)

Radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr announced Wednesday his militia will leave the Imam Ali Shrine after a threat by the Iraqi government to “liberate” the holy site in Najaf.

In a letter from al-Sadr’s office in Baghdad, the cleric said he agreed to demands Tuesday night by a delegation from the Iraqi National Conference that he and his forces leave the mosque, disband his Mehdi Army and “enter into the mainstream political process.”
Alright guys. Cheer and go home.

Good. Now maybe he can find time to occupy a dentist's chair and leave holy places for worshipping instead of killing.

^ :rotfl: Why, is he british?

I distinctly recall some unfortunate victim's mothers pics crying in Pakistan because her son was butchered by these idiots..

but heck..maybe that was all staged too, otherwise would u be so kind to tell her that her son is fine and not actually dead.

Sadr killing Iraqis is a sign of strength..strength is from allmightly Allah...this is a clear sign that allah has chosen Sadr to rule over the Iraq ummah...rule he will..these MV types don't understand it and that is the root of all problems.

What were the curry-monkeys doing in a war zone anyhow? Dead idiots..

They were poor men just trying to support their families. Here's a more relative and disturbing question to ponder... why is a group callig itself the Islamic Army in Iraq commiting such heinous acts?
