Mentioning 9/11 during elections in America was enough to scare Americans, but since nothing happened in UK so Blair has to come up with more dramatic stories like at least 250 terrorists are in UK and they could strike at any moment.

Brits arent as gullible. Noone took him seriously. he's an ex police tho, hes been criticised for scaremongering and exaggeration, merely to get the 'house arrest' bill accepted or even to get paid for these stories...the sad git.
