to understand the authority that the US holds over the kingdom of Sauds u shud study the background of the family of Saud who hailed frm a small bedouin town called Dariyah…and the then superpower of Britain handpicking them and installing the Abdul Aziz bin Saud at expense of the Ottomans and Sharif Hussein of Mecca…really fascinating tale…obviously not everything can be written here but suffice to say tht the only country in the world that is named after a single family owes its survival to outsiders…when Saddam’s men invaded Kuwait and Saudis were threatened then the 7th largest spender on military trusted not yheir men but the American boots to b stationed on the bordrrs in case Saddam continued adventuring…
