Do you think the salafis that replace assad will be any better? Will the syrians truly be celebrating? After seeing their ideology, I somehow dont think so.
There are so many hands in the syrian pie, that russia and iran are the least of our worries. But if syria explodes, the whole of the region will go down with it.
