What I wrote earlier using the topographical maps shows exactly this point. Iraq is not “highland”. So I agree - or rather your findings concur with my earlier post.

In terms of bigger fitnah than Daesh - forget about Islamic history … A bigger fitnah is the Assad regime.

Could be, but I’d ignore Syria for now
