We all know what it is, when our beoved master was raised thru the heavans and met with our creator, its the crowning moment of Islam and highlighting of our masters status.
I just wanted to know:
Books on it
Audio on it-except Imam Shiekh Hamza Yusuf, whose talk on it I have heard many times.
What you ppl think of it, ie do any of you doubt it was a physical experience?
anwer to Q3 --> no muslims can/should doubt it as the Quran clearly mentions this event....
just wondering how appropriate it is to call the Prophet (pbuh) "our master"????
I dont mean any disrespect to Allah Taa'la, i simply say it out of love for rasool allah, who is the master of the worlds, they were created only so they be glorified. His name signs on every star. :)
i wonder why Allah made my eye sight so poor that i cant read the name on even a single star 
and if u do love the Prophet, then plz do try to follow his commands and dont glorify him to more than what he is: i.e. Allah’s slave and messenger…
mo, allah already gave the answer to Q3.. it's a hint, only if u'd want to take it:
[17:90] And they say: We will by no means believe in you until you cause a fountain to gush forth from the earth for us.
[17:91] Or you should have a garden of palms and grapes in the midst of which you should cause rivers to flow forth, gushing out.
[17:92] Or you should cause the heaven to come down upon us in pieces as you think, or bring Allah and the angels face to face (with us).
[17:93] Or you should have a house of gold, or you should ascend into heaven, and we will not believe in your ascending until you bring down to us a book which we may read. Say: Glory be to my Lord; am I aught but a mortal messenger?
[17:94] And nothing prevented people from believing when the guidance came to them except that they said: What! has Allah raised up a mortal to be a messenger?
[6:35] And if their turning away is hard on you, then if you can seek an opening (to go down) into the earth or a ladder (to ascend up) to heaven so that you should bring them a sign and if Allah had pleased He would certainly have gathered them all on guidance, therefore be not of the ignorant.
