Is there any hadith that among the signs of Qiyama would be the destruction of the Al-Aqsa mosque? Or is there any reference of this at all in Islam? I watched a youtube video on the destruction of the mosque and in one of the captions it was stated that this is recognized by Islam…however I have not come upon anything like that.

Sister it’s not about what we believe - it is about what others believe … before we look for ahadith on Aqsa being taken … we should look for ahadith of Palestine being taken … a phenomenon that has actually already come true.

I looked at the links and read the article. What is your opinion? Do you believe that the completion of this temple will result in the emergence of Dajjal? Is there any Islamic reference that confirms or supports this; I did not come upon one when I did an online search. Therefore, I don't think it's right for a Muslim to state (without solid proof) that Islam recognizes destruction of Al-Aqsa (as a specific) as among the signs of Qiyamah. I have watched videos of Orthodox Jews that are opposed to the construction of the temple. There is one thing I am confused about. Is this temple sacred for only the Jews or the Christians as well? The article mentioned that Jesus (AS) had prophesized that the building of the temple will be among the signs of the end times. Also stated that it will result in the return of Jesus (AS). Surely these views cannot be in accordance with Jewish beliefs. I doubt that Jesus (AS) is the "messiah" the Jews are waiting for. We believe that their messiah will be dajjal, but what do the Jewish texts have to say about the identity of this messiah?
