Bhool jaiN to aj behter hai
Silsilay qurb kay judai kay
Bujh chuki khwahishooN ki qandeelaiN
Lut chukay shehr shanasai kay
Ra’aygaaN sa’atooN say kia lena
Zakhm hoon phool hoon sitaray hoon
Jis nay jaisay bhi din guzaray hooN
Zindgi say shikayataiN kaisi
Ab nahi haiN ager gilay thay kabhi
Bhool jaiN keh hum milay they kabhi
Bhool jaiN keh jo hoa so hoa
Akser ooqat chahnay per bhi
FaslooN main kami nahi hoti
Baaz ooqat janay waloon ki
Vapsi say khushi nahi hoti
