Akram cant do commentary in CL: India

“Home away from home” series

read what I have highlighted up there and than please quote where I have talked about the Indian team. Maybe you dont realise but cricket team and commentators are two different things.

I know but under the circumstances that is the best we can do and remember I live in England so I don’t mind having Pak home games there.

Thanks for pointing that out :p

However, narkumar's post quoted below talks about all sporting events & your response to it sounds like if India bans Pak sportsmen (past/present), you would want Pak to do the same. In that case its not just commentators we are talking about, is it ?

I don't think the Indian govt is that vengeful or jobless to go after a single commentator who has come to India many times after the Mumbai attacks. The controversy is because of a decision taken by ESPN and faulty reporting from Pakistan.

I dont think its the matter of money or job or no job, its the position that Indian govt has taken. Off course Pakistani players in IPL were not hurting indian govt pocket, they were all barred too...Sialkot Stallion had to take part in CL, they have been bared too....keep on counting

Re: Akram cant do commentary in CL: India

let's speak the truth here please.

Wasim Akram is a cricketer and not a politician. We allow pak diplomats to visit all the time nd they are far far worse politicos. We even allowed Musharrafm the infamous perpetrator of Kargil, to visit and actually get paid for putting up a farce of a show in India. So what is behind stopping Wasim Akram? If there is a reason offered i am ok, other wise this is plain dum stupid and very ....dare I say....Indian politic

Re: Akram cant do commentary in CL: India

It was all nonesense he is already in india teaching KKR kids how to bowl

After seeing India's seam bowling in recent CT they could really do with some help from the legend :D

Good morning ! I am glad you woke up from your slumber. :D

I dont think anyone has denied that India's bowling could do with help, and who better to coach them than one of the all time fast bowling greats...

Re: Akram cant do commentary in CL: India

Wasim shouuld maybe stick to..
