Disgusting is the word that comes to mind when you first watch the drama, next comes reality. It's a 'disgusting reality' they've portrayed. It's a part of our society you can't deny. It does leave you wondering ye aurat ka konsa roop hai but it exists, doesn't it????
Don't know why that woman gave in... one who refused to take money. If she didn't want to go down that path she should have stayed strong. Anyway we'll see what the writer has in mind about that in later episodes.
^ lots of things happen in real life that we do not talk about. if they are doing this to show the disgusting realities of our society, something thought provoking, even then at least put some kind of ratings on it or a disclaimer before it for the kind of audience they want.
^First of all when I say it's a part of our society I don't mean it should be highlighted and turned into a drama. BUT it's there, it happens amongst other disgusting things and someone out there decided to make money off of it.
Secondly it's Pakistan yaar.... what ratings? What disclaimers? Promo was enough to let the veiwers know what was going to be in it.
And last but not least I don't think those drama makers are trying to provoke thoughts other than a very few that can be counted on fingers. It's all about providing entertainment and gaining profit. They brought out a controversial topic, got a few well known artists to perform, put the final product on television and are probably making money as we speak, for them mission accomplished.
Thats the point....We should be able to talk about things. Kabooter ki tarah ankheen band kar leena and then cliam that our society is best of the best and Westerns are mader pidder azad qoom.
And audience willingly see all the crapy Indian movies and other sort of vulgarity in the name of Pakistani entertainment so why so sensetive about this topic?
I like Sajid Hassan's and Hasna bai(forgot her real name) acting. Its going in a slow pace though, getting boring.
