These two operating together have taken lot of wickets and have put pressure on opposition in middle overs. Can anyone check how many wickets have they taken while playing together?

Amazing combo....Ajmals doosra and consistency with Afridi's variety.....the 2 As of today can become similar to 2 Ws of yester years, although less dramatic since they are spinners.

Oh please. Pakistan cricket is in shambles. Let these guys play with humbleness. Let them beat the world for next two years to restore some pride on side. Don't do what Indians do with their cricketers.

The conclusion of that poll was that Razzaq is much better player than Afridi.

They make them Next this.....Next that..... on one performance. Lots of speculations and analysis pour down on TV channels and websites on a newbie, comparisons with legends etc etc. That sure makes that player millionaire in few weeks but often they fail to live upto hype. Pakistanis are doing the same thing for quiet some time, but on a lesser level.
Pakistan cricket has so much mess from Butt's era to clean up that everyone should just shut up on the useless hype creation and let the players focus on the game only and beat the top teams to restore some pride. Instead of controversies, one day Pakistani cricket will be famous for its decent and consistent professional cricketers. Who don't care about their individual marketing deals or personal records, but play for one thing .....WIN. InshaAllah. The fans need to support the player but not pull them in nonsense record breaking race.

Cricket is all about Stats.
There is nothing wrong in finding out interesting stats (Ajmal & Afridi together). If one is trying to find that out that does not mean they Afridi & Ajmal are compared to Wasim and Waqar. Afridi and Ajmal are performing well together and that should be appreciated and highlighted.

Thanx Sennan, thats pretty good. Though i had thought it would have been better than this. Probably it would be if we take the last years performance.
However, spinners in middle overs have done well for Pakistan in stemming the run flow and taking important wickets. Most of our spinners have done well in last year or so. Inaddition to Afridi and Ajmal, AbdulRehman and Hafeez have also bowled tightly.
